Attract Your Ideal Clients

What is attractive to your client? How do you position yourself so as to be attractive to those you are seeking to attract? Where do you best find your future clients? How will they find you?

What Attracts one person to another? One Business to another?

They say, “beauty is in the eye of the beholder”. Across a crowded room, you can see people dressed like you and feel a degree of connection. As a banker from many years ago, I could spot another miles away, you will typically be dressed in a suit and tie, and speak in a deliberate, considered way. Being careful what you might say, so as to not misrepresent the bank in any way.

Personally, although I enjoyed a successful career in banking, I never really quite fitted in. I prefer those who just tell it like it is, are honest about the issues they are facing and are genuinely looking to make a difference, and to make an impact on their situation for the better. Not to say, I did not connect with and still have today some really awesome friends and long standing relationships, just that they were harder to find.

Coming to work for an IT company, looking to change the world some 15 years ago, I was attracted to the visionary leader, the creativity and the imagination of those in the team. Also the practical, can do, will do and must innovate to thrive attitude I could really relate to.

Social Media and Social Attractiveness

These days there is a lot of talk about Social Media, establishing an online presence, and creating good content and sharing it effectively. As a perfectionist, I must say I have struggled with this sort of thing. I want the content to be perfect, I want to perfectly analyze and investigate who we should be speaking with and then have a considered plan to communicate and engage. If it was not perfect, it would not be posted.

Over the years I have learnt from the team, that it is better to be first than perfect, but that it is good to have a strategy that starts with an understanding of yourself, your offering and most of all what makes it attractive to the sort of customer you prefer to work with, or are best suited to supporting. It is great to invite the perspective of others, but most important to be real about who you and your organisation represents. To communicate this and your offering effectively and with clarity. This is what Branding is about. Not just logos, slogans and pretty colour schemes, but really understanding what makes your organization unique and how to put your best foot forward in the market.

Developing Brand Presence and Clarity in What you offer.

We have dealt with a huge diversity of businesses over the years, and all, no matter large or small, corporate or academic, professional or trade related, have struggled to articulate with clarity just what they do and deliver.

We approach this situation from multiple angles via a series of guided workshops. We first seek to understand what is unique about your organisation. Then what services you and your competitors offer in the market. We work with you to define the ideal characteristics of your best client. We ask you and work with you to define three words that defines and delivers your brand message to these clients.

With this in place we can develop the strategic elements to best position your brand in your chosen market.

Attracting and Defining Your Ideal Client

Good marketing creates desire for the brand; it starts with good “match-making” between you and your “ideal customers”, their needs and your offer and your respective styles, finding the common ground and nurturing the relationship through the right experience every time. That is best done from an in-depth knowledge of your customers, their attitudes, behaviours, what matters to them.
The longevity and value of your brand start with attracting clients with whom you can build a solid long-term relationship.

I think of this like defining the characteristics of your ideal match. For me it was the smile, the joyful disposition, strength of character, perseverance, integrity, ability to forgive, to be gracious and of course she is still today is the most beautiful girl to me! I found her in the most unexpected place, far removed from where I would usually go, and even after the party, I had come to attend.

For me in business, we need a more deliberate strategy to attract. We can just go with the flow and by circumstance find the right client and then leverage that connection. But then we miss out on the personal and financial benefits of exposing our brand, and putting our best foot forward.

We invite you to explore how we can help you develop a strategy that attracts, and delivers the sorts of relationships and connections that deliver true lasting value. A strategy that is carried forward by a system that delivers a satisfying customer and user experience
